    The cows are forcibly impregnated (“raped” by bulls). Their calves are taken away from them 2days after this. The milk that was intended to the calf is what we drink and use in our food. The cows are often kept in spaces no bigger than their size, unable to move. After living their whole life like this, they are taken to the slaughterhouse. Hope that explained things. :)

    I made these and followed the recipe exactly. They were delicious! However, they didn’t hold together very well, which was surpirsing since I used the eggs.

  3. Imy father was a butcher for 40yrs+even he would NEVER eat a commercial “Mc Murder ” burger.They contain eyes,bones,skin,bollocks,intestines,bum holes,,growth promoting hormones ,…..Oh +there might be a little meat in there too.Don’t believe the hype they are liers, dad was making beef burgers 50yrs ago by hand+even then he said they used the sweepings off the floor in them+ including the sawdust!.NOTa pro vege rant but the truth coming out of the mouth of an 80yr man who’s seen it 1st hand.

  4. also powdered “lecithin” based egg substitute which is sold in health food shops.Good for cakes+recipes etc but not very nice for omelettes

  5. Hi ,a person who eats fish but no meat isn’t a vegetarian but a pescetarian[think of the sign piscies,the fish].I’ve done 32yrs since I was 10 as a vege+was a vegan for over 20yrs but only stopped when I became very ill[nothing to do with dietmgenetics sadly].As I’ve said to new veges on you-tube just experiment with food,millions of people in Asia are vegan+vege +are really healthy…try out new things+have fun x

  6. I dont like fried food much either,try getting a spray bottle+filling it with a mixture of olive oil+veg oil[this gives it a higher ability to get hotter as olive oil burns pretty quickly].Just spray a non stick tray with the mixture+give any veg burgers you make a few sprays onto their surface if you want to try cooking in the oven instead.I use the spray method for virtually all my cooking+it uses hardly any oil,those electric grills they sell work quite well to but need some oil

  7. Well done,keep it up,I’ve been a vege since I was 10yrs old[32yrs now!].My dad was a butcher in an abatoir,so I was put off for life.Try+vary your diet,experiment in the kitchen+try lots of different spices etc.Good luck to you+ignore stupid comments off others on You-Tube who no doubt will have something ignorant to say on the issue.x

  8. this is cool i might try this
    i’ve been a vegetarian now for almost 4 days lol

    It is delicious! This is one of my favorite things to make. The texture is great, too.

    You Just don’t need the eggs, it will make it way too sticky especially with the milk. I like the way they comment that you can use Soy Milk according to your dietary requirements but no mention that you can leave the eggs out!! Eggs are gross…Don’t use them!

  15. Cool recipe! I’m going to try it out. Never had lentil burger before. Could be interesting…

  16. there is nothing wrong with any of the things you listed

  17. I”m not getting defensive I just wanted to point out that the eggs in the store that you cook with have not been fertilized. there was no introduction of a rooster to the hens so there isn’t any way that it is not formed chicks… hope I cleared that up for you

  18. zeragito says:

    @BlondieParisan “I really thought…”. Evidently not.

  19. zeragito says:

    @BlondieParisan you’re a complete retard. Animal liberation means to let the animals free and not keep them on farms, it’s got nothing to do with animals voting or working you moron. Even if you don’t have to kill a hen for eggs or kill a cow for milk, the same farm that produces milk/eggs also produces beef and chicken among other slaughter products. That’s where the MALE animals go you dumbass.

  20. You don’t “need” to use the egg. If you add a little extra oil and work a little bit longer on forming them, they stick pretty well. Although you can buy an egg substitute if you don’t mind spending quite a bit of money.

  21. orams1 says:

    although when they dont give the chickens water for 20 days at a time to force another egg cycle isnt really our right

  22. Lental Grits;
    1/4 cup of lentals
    put into magic bullet or grinder for 30 secs
    cook/boil with same directions as you would with grits
    I eat with butter and honey or brown sugar!!!!!!
    taste just like grits.
    mmm mmm Bitch!!!

  23. WILLIAMLUTZ2 says:
