Like yogurts? Do they even make vegan yogurts?
Do you know any really good vegan foods that have a lot of protein? Like an unbelievable amount of protein?
You bet there’s such a thing as vegan yogurt! And it’s pretty good, too! I occasionally use So Nice brand strawberry yogurt – it’s lovely!
As for high protein… you know, you actually only need 5-6% of your daily calories from protein (according to the World Health Organization). So if you’re eating say 1200 calories a day, that’s only 60 calories from protein a day, and you can EASILY get that from a half-serving of tofu each day. And please don’t forget that there are amino acids (the building blocks of protein) in pretty much every plant food under the sun, so you’re already getting protein from foods like whole grains and vegetables.
But if you’re looking for a protein punch, soy foods and legumes are a great choice – especially chickpeas!
Best of luck!
WholeSoy vegan yogurt is really good. I like the vanilla flavor.
Fake meats and peanut butter are good vegan sources of protein. Clif bars and Luna bars are vegan. This site has a list of other vegan foods high in protein:http://www.tryveg.com/cfi/toc/?v=08sourc…

Hope this helps!
Tonight I made a pasta sauce that was really good! It was an Alfredo type sauce but made with cashews! You take about a cup of cashews (1/2 cup of cashews per person) and put into the blender. Add some rice milk (cover all the cashews with the milk) and blend till smooth. Sautee up some onions, then add some garlic, in olive oil. Add the cashew cream to the pan and stir in some salt and spices (I added thyme, basil, paprika, and some black pepper). Add your favorite pasta. It was alittle too sweet for me (but my kids loved it of course!), so maybe a little 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper next time. You could also sautee up some vegetables to add to the pasta and sauce.
